Yellow Dutch Iris

After a 2-month absence from painting, due to a move to a new house, I've finally got my painting things unpacked enough to start painting again. Thank goodness. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't paint. I think I would become very strange. Anyway, I started with some small florals for a client. Love painting anything yellow cause it lets me use W&N Quin Gold!

Yellow Chilli Peppers

5 x 7 inches, watercolor, 2009.

Another painting of some produce grown at home. I love chillis and spicy foods, and this year grew a variety of chillies of diferent strengths in the greenhouse - these are quite mild but still pack a nice warm punch.

Yellow English Roses Painting

These are pale yellow English roses, painted in watercolor, and inspired by the roses created by the great David Austin. This one is available on ebay, but I have a series of them on my web site. I love painting these - they are so vintage-looking.

Pale Yellow Cabbage Roses Watercolor Painting

Pastel botanicals are always the first things that pop into my mind to paint. I love the pale, pale vintage David Austin cabbage roses. This painting is 4" x 6".
