Seascape - new miniature painting (orginal) - watercolor dinghy.

MINIATURE: Original watercolor painting. "Drifting" 1:12 scale. 2x1.5" A peaceful and beautiful colored scene of a tethered dinghy in a marina with gentle reflections. I painted it for the peaceful scene. But ended up loving it for the colors. A great addition to a room box, dollhouse, miniature display or even framed for your walls in a SFA collection.
Artist: Jillian Crider.

Missing miniature watercolor painting of roses.

Many of my paintings are miniature, and, as such, they can go 'missing' easily. This one, a watercolor, "North Adelaide Roses" has been out of sight and out of mind for quite some years.
I'm now offering it for sale on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291219887420?
It would fit nicely into any dollhouse or miniature room box setting.
1:12 scale, sold framed, size of art is approximately 1.75 x 1.5". There are lots of tiny details in this work.

Original ACEO watercolor - old Victorian house porch.

"The Old Victorian" original ACEO watercolor (+ some ink). 2.5x3.5". Listed on eBay:

"I tend to get 'caught up in all the details' when doing my art. I deliberately chose a looser style with this, and love that I did. The house is lived in an historic with wonderful Victorian features. Shown in the 'lace' work on the door and side windows. A 'side' door to the house, but accented with a lovely garden and topped off with an American flag.
The garden is lit with sunlight, which in turn is reflected in the windows and door glass.

Although some of my brush strokes give fine details, I chose to add a little bit of ink work, particularly to emphasize the iron lace scroll work and to add character'. Some nice steps make this entry seem really inviting. I love old houses, and this one is a joy!"

Cat on doorstep. Ashland, Oregon. ACEO original watercolor painting.

Just finished this original watercolor painting. It's an ACEO (sized always at 2.5x3.5"). I love doing art this size, it helps to really concentrate on the essentials.

I was looking at the door of an old building, when I saw I was being watched back. This fluffy cat made a lovely subject for this painting.

I have it listed on eBay - HERE

6x6" watercolor - horses & people on beach at dawn

I just finished this original SFA watercolor last night. SFA = Small Format Art - nothing over 14".

This is 6x6" square.

I've wanted to paint this for a long time, so I can't help but wonder where these people are now. No doubt the 'little' girl is at least a teenager. Dawn at one of Adelaide, South Australia's beaches (Semaphore). Where horses are allowed to exercise on the beach and in the surf up until 8am. At one stage this was along all the beaches, and a great many were exercised at Grange, where I lived, and was lucky enough to be let ride sometimes, as a child.

I've done several paintings from this location. Love this with the Mum, child, big and little horses (Shetland pony), and Jack Russell Terrier running alongside.

"Starting The Day With A Gallop" - currently listed on eBay for a week at a very low starting price (along with 7 other SFA watercolors. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=291060359629
