Floral Watercolor Painting

I've been experimenting with Yupo watercolor paper. It's so different, and so slippery. I'm discovering I can't erase on Yupo, or it leaves areas that resists paint. I'm not sure whether I love it or hate it yet! If you'd like to see more, please visit my blog at http://paintinginwatercolor.blogspot.com

I hear a lot of artists say the same thing! I haven't tried it yet; I have enough trouble with cold press 140 paper!!! However I do find your painting quite interesting and inviting. I think you did a good painting.

This floral painting is beautiful. I love the loose effect that working on Yupo offers. I've only tried it a couple of times and found it a bit frustrating, probably since I'm such a "control freak" with my painting. Your lovely flowers in a jar painting has inspired me to give Yupo more chances!

RoseAnn - I love your painting - I have been doing some watercolors as well on Yupo - Just finished one I called Joyous - definitely has a different feel but I like working on it. Thanks for sharing. Have a Blessed Day!
