Peruvian Lily (Alstroemeria)


6.5 x 7 inches, watercolour, 2009.

The delicate structure and pink and yellow shades of this alstromeria were a challenge to paint. We have these in several colours in the garden, a legacy from my father.

Thanks Lee and Gayle! Yes, they do Lee - also my plants have flowered once, I cut them back and they are now flowering again!
