Yellow and Red Tomatoes

Yellow and Red Tomatoes, 8 x 8
We had a great harvest of yellow and red tomatoes this year, I wish I had had time to paint more of them. These are among the last of the crop.

I love the watery look!It reminds me that I need to do more of that.

Hillary, you must know by now, you are one of my favorite watercolorists. I look forward to every new one. I think we like alot of the same watercolor techniques. Great background, as usual. RoseAnn

Thank you JoyfulArtist and RoseAnn! I feel like your comments are both about that watery something-or-other, that watercolor painterly quality, that I love to see and to paint - where the painting is about the paint as much as about the subject. So thank you, that was very much on my mind as I painted this!

Well you just rock let's just get that out of the way. This painting is quiet beauty it expresses tranquility to moi. (And makes me speak French apparently)
