Patio Flowers

This is a preliminary study that I painted - a warm-up, kind of, for a larger flower market painting that I'd like to do. Always wanted to paint a French flower market scene. So many ideas, so little time. It's also inspired by my love for potted chrysanthemums. The pink is one of my favorite pinks: Sennellier Carmine.

Love the cheerful feeling I get when I look at this one. Love your light touch - the colors - the composition - and I'm going to experiment with your Sennellier Carmine! Lovely!
