Butterfly & Lilac Watercolor
It's lilac season here in Nebraska. I haven't seen any monarchs yet but somewhere in the world they must find some lilacs, maybe further south? This was a fun little painting that I presented to my watercolor class so they could experiment with masking fluid and negative painting.

What part did you mask? Just curious if it's the butterfly or the lilacs :) May favorite part is the lilac cool negative painting going on there :)
