Sunflower in a Glass

Still loving those sunflowers. They're so perfect for watercolor, and they let us use the fabulous new yellows that are on the market.

Hi RoseAnn, your Sunflower is lovely. I agree some flowers just scream "Watercolors!".
I checked your Etsy and this painting is looking so great when matted and ready to go.
Thanks,
Irina

I love it, RoseAnn. These uncluttered (for lack of a better word) watercolors that make a statement of their own are my favorite.

So pretty, Rose. Has that loose watercolory look that I personally love about watercolor.

The sense of light & sparkle on the water is very effective. Fresh and lovely.

Love the looseness of the washes and the freshness of color. This is what watercolors are all about.
