BOTTLEBRUSH

I'd never seen a painting of a BottleBrush flower, but I'd intended to try one for quite a while. They are such unusual flowers. Along the stem, there are many tiny yellow flowers, from which the red bristles fan out. They provide an opportunity to use such delicious reds.

I love your painting and the Bottle Brush tree. I painted a bouquet of Bottle Brush once, actually some stems in a jar. It turned out so well someone bought at an art show. It was before I was in the habit of taking a picture of all my paintings. It's a good habit to have, you can keep track of your progress.
