Hypnos ACEO


ACEO, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, watercolour and gouache, 2008.
Hypnos in mythology was the personifiction of sleep. His brother was Thanatos (death) and his mother Nyx (night). He was associated with poppies and slept in a dark palace where the sun never shone.
