Tail of the Mercat

Mer-things are a very popular subject on eBay. I've sold more mermaids than just about anything there, be they in watercolor or clay. This one is an ACEO, watercolor and gouache. Another limited palette: thalo turquoise, alizarin crimson, and cadmium orange for the most part, with touches of yellow ochre and cadmium red light. And of course black ink.
