ACEO, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, watercolour, 2008.For this months WNW Group Challenge we were asked to paintn and image using a limited palette of seven colours - all other colours were to be mixed from those colours. My seven colours were raw sienna, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, cerulean blue, prussian blue and burnt umber.
It meant I couldn't depend on my usual skin tone formula and had to work a bit harder to get things right.
