These are Periwinkles, also known as "Vinca". Here in Texas, they make wonderful summer annuals. They love sunshine and heat. I love their clean, crisp happy little faces.

April Showers (or Watercolor Wednesday HELD OVER!)
April Showers = Vinca Flowers
The periwinkle is blooming! Blame it on the April 1st showers, or not!
Creeping myrtle blooms each Spring and serves as a great ground cover in shady spots.
