ACEO Neglected tool...

"Neglected, But Not Forgotten" 2.5x3.5 watercolor on paper

I don't take it lightly when I discover that I've forgotten to wash a brush, especially when it's with oil paint or acrylics.  Aside from the high cost of good art supplies, I strongly believe the old say, "when you take care of your tools, your tools will take care of you."  But this one brush was not the first I've damaged and it probably won't be the last!  I painted this for the Daily Paintworks Paint What You Paint With challenge :)

Here's a little quickie from last week.  Don't you just love using the white of the paper?  Yep, definitely one of the joys of watercolor. LOL

Extreme Waterplay

The DPW Challenge this week is "Paint what you Paint With"

so I did. 

No wet in wet here. 

The painting is 5x7 on very smooth hot pressed paper.

I used those watercolor paint sticks and that very pen.
