ACEO, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, watercolour and gouache, 2008.I don't know why this mermaid is crying - they are highly strung, contrary creatures, prone to tears - but I know she will collect the tears, allow them to dry and then when they have hardened and crystallised, make jewellery with them to sell.
