These are three of the squash we grew this summer. We hadn't grown squash before so we were curious to see how it turned out. Sadly it wasn't good - the fruits were very bitter and nasty to taste (and very poisonous if eaten). It's not clear why this happened but at least they looked nice enough to paint!
Interesting to look at, sorry they aren't edible. Great texture and reflection.
